When class was cancelled due to snow, my co-instructors for GRAD 602 tasked me with summing up the lecture in a short videocast. GRAD 602, aka “Teaching, Learning, and Technology” is a class offered through the Graduate School at Virginia Commonwealth University for doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows who are planning for an academic career.
Here’s a 14 minute look at epistemology within the context of instructional design. Be warned, it’s meant for people who have never been introduced to epistemology and it’s only 14 minutes, so there’s not much nuance going on–I admit that fully. That being said, I think it shows the potential of the lecture-digital storyboard combination. I made it with WeVideo and used most of my own photos.
